 Active movements, such as a golf swing, require the knee to bend while rotating. Such combined movements are limited by many above-knee prostheses. Up to 20 degrees of internal and external rotation are available with the Otto Bock 4R85 or 4R86 Torsion Adapters with individually adjustable ball bearings. Not only is gait improved, but the torque absorption provided also minimizes rubbing between the socket and residual limb. The result is increased comfort which is useful for more than just a perfect swing.
