Chuck's New Endolite Knee
w/Ca-Tech Hydraulics & an Otto Bock Knee Rotator.

These components are "modular" which means that you can build a prosthetic leg in many possible combinations.  This just happens to be what I am fortunate enough to have been fitted with.

I am also using an IceRoss silicone liner with a built-in locking pin at the end
(as pictured) and a PDI "Shuttlelock" pin suspension system. So far, I am very pleased!

This is a picture of my new knee from the back. You can see the Ca-Tech adjustable hydraulic cylinder.  Both the "flexion" and "extension" gait phases are independently adjustable of one another.
This is the close up photo of the adjustment ring.
It is amazing that I can now sit with my legs crossed again since the rotator allows me to sit like this!
This is my new suspension system. There is an IceRoss silicone liner underneath this 2-ply sock. Note the small pin sticking out then end (shown enlarged below).
This pin is the greatest part!

No suction, no belts, just a locking pin that is easy to use!

(see release button shown next…)

One press of this button (see finger) and the leg is off. I love this!
Almost forgot, one last button… this is the one that I can use to let the knee rotate.

Over all, quite an expensive proposition but worth it if insurance will allow it.
